Transition Services

NANSA offers three services called Connect, Fusion and Springboard for young adults aged 18-25, aimed at supporting the transition from children’s services to adulthood and independence.

Connect takes place on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, at the NANSA Adult & Youth Centre.

Fusion takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during school holidays. Sessions may take place at the NANSA Adult & Youth Centre but will also be held at other venues in and around Norwich.

The aim of both projects is to help young people prepare for adult life by learning and practicing new skills which will help them be more independent as a young adult, whether trying to find work, live in their own home or even just do more things for themselves rather than needing help from parents or carers. We are an accredited ASDAN centre and offer short course qualifications as part of the learning programme.

The Springboard group runs on the first and third Thursdays of each month, from 7-9pm. Sessions are held at NANSA or at community venues. Springboard is a fun, relaxed group which exists primarily to provide social and leisure opportunities with members setting the agenda together, facilitated by our staff team.

Membership charges apply for all of the above groups and are usually funded through the use of personal budgets. Please contact our Referral Coordinator for full details of how to join.
