Children & Family Services Session Worker (S.E:N.S.E. Programme)
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Children & Family Services Project Worker for our SENSE Programme. This is a fixed term post until April 2020 funded by Children in Need.

The Children & Family Services Project Worker plays a key role in the delivery of NANSA’s S.E:N.S.E. programme for pre-school and primary-age children with physical and learning disabilities/complex additional needs and sensory processing disorders with their parent/s or regular carer and siblings. Key to the success of this service is the Project Worker’s ability to work as part of the Children & Family Services Team in effectively facilitating children and their families’ access to NANSA’s services. The Project Worker also participates in an in-house key working scheme for children and their families accessing our services, and works with the team in providing additional support to families as required.

Salary: £16,271.00 p.a. pro rata plus annual leave allowance

Hours: 28 hours per week, 40 weeks p.a. Fixed Term post until April 2020 funded by Children in Need

Youth Services Session Worker x 3 (2 Maternity posts until approximately December 2017)
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Youth Services Session Worker.

The Sessional Worker provides support to young people in Norfolk aged 11 - 25 with severe physical/learning disabilities or complex additional support needs who are accessing our services. The Sessional Worker ensures that the young people can fully participate in a programme of activities through encouragement, direct assistance as needed, and supporting them to develop key skills which will enable them to confidently undertake the key transitions through to adult life.

Salary: £16,271 - £17,053 (FTE) pro-rata

Hours: 79 session per annum

Termtime = Saturdays (6hrs)

Holidays = Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (6hrs each)

Plus 4 days per annum training (6hrs)

Adult Services Bank Support Worker
Flexible hours £7.69 per hour

The Support Worker is a frontline role working directly with clients as part of a team. The Support Worker enables clients to participate in a comprehensive programme of educational, vocational, outreach, leisure and creative activities, and encourages and promotes independence. The nature of the work is very varied, and includes assisting with personal and dietary care, dealing with challenging behaviour, and offering 1:1 support as appropriate. Bank staff have flexible contracts and work as agreed between NANSA and the individual, to cover staff absences and additional times of need.
