Children & Young People Services Team Leader (West Norfolk)
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We are currently going through a period of growth and development and have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as a Children and Young People Services Team Leader based in Kings Lynn.

The NANSA Children & Young Peoples Services Team Leader is responsible for the development, planning, organisation and running of our group-based specialist services for young people in West Norfolk aged 11 - 25 with physical / learning disabilities or complex additional support needs. This role requires a combination of outstanding frontline delivery skills with strong organisational ability, the ability to provide strong leadership to the Children & Young Peoples Services Team in West Norfolk and the ability to create and deliver an outstanding programme of activities. The postholder will also be required to work in collaboration with NANSA’s partner organisation, West Norfolk Deaf Association.

Salary: £20,366 per annum (pro-rata)

Children & Family Services Session Worker
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We are currently going through a period of growth and development and have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as a Session Worker.

The Children & Family Services Session Worker assists in the delivery of a range of skills development programmes for pre-school and primary-age children with physical and learning disabilities/complex additional needs with their parent/s or regular carer. The C&FS Session Worker also participates in activity programmes for older children with disabilities as required. Key to the success of this service is the Session Worker’s ability to work as part of the Children & Family Services Team in effectively facilitating children and their families’ access to NANSA’s services. The Session Worker also participates in an in-house key working scheme for children and their families accessing our services, and works with the team in providing additional support to families as required.

Salary: NANSA Scale 8 - £14,524 pro rata + annual leave allowance

Hours: Part time – 18 hours per week for 40 weeks per annum

Sleep Service Worker
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We are currently going through a period of growth and development and have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as a Sleep Service Worker.

The Children & Family Sleep Service Worker assists in the delivery of a clinic-based service which supports families of children with learning disabilities/complex additional needs who are experiencing sleep disturbance issues. The post holder, supervised by the NANSA Sleep Service Team Leader works with families to devise and implement sleep programmes for their child through a series of appointments. Key to the success of this service is the Sleep Service Worker’s ability to work as part of the Sleep Service Team in providing effective professional support for children and their families accessing NANSA’s services.

Salary: NANSA Scale 11 - £16,271 pro rata + annual leave allowance

Hours: Part time – 7 hours per week for 40 weeks per annum (Mondays)

T&T Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager of Train & Trade will assist the Head of Train & Trade with building NANSA’s core business of delivering great services that meet the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities in Norfolk. As we are growing and expanding, the Assistant Manager of Train & Trade will assist the Head of Train & Trade with a drive of initiatives that create new opportunities for service users across the county. This includes developing and managing relationships with partner agencies across all sectors and ensuring that sufficient appropriate referrals come in to the organisation, ensuring efficient processing of referrals in and out of the organisation, developing new services to meet demand, and assisting with the line-management of our Development Coaches; who deliver a range of traineeships and services to individuals with barriers to education and/or employment.

Salary: NANSA Scale 24 – 26 (£23,023 - £24,534)
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week

Adult Services Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager supports the Head of Adult Services to deliver outstanding services that meet the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities accessing our Norwich centre. The Assistant Manager will ensure the smooth day to day running of Adult Services, including line management of associated staff and co-ordination of activities (some of which may happen within the local community). They take the lead on ensuring our quality criteria are met at all times, that sufficient and high quality, appropriate staffing is in place, and that any operational challenges are dealt with effectively. They support the Head of Adult Services on safeguarding and health and safety matters and take the lead in their absence. They act as a strong role model to raise standards through open communication and fostering a continuous learning culture within the team, and liaise with other departments to contribute to the organisation’s overall growth.

Communications, Marketing & Campaigns Officer

We are currently going through a period of growth and development and have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as a Communications, Marketing & Campaigns Officer.

This is both an internal and external-facing role within NANSA, developing, implementing and managing an array of internal and external communications activities, marketing NANSA services and its retail, trading and training activities and leading on the development of campaigns that raise awareness about key issues facing people with disabilities and result in action to remove barriers to their empowerment and achievement of life goals. It requires: strong organisational, communication and excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to identify critical communication and marketing opportunities and key decision makers; proven skills in creating opportunities and managing relationships with key people and organisations to secure long-term support and achieve organisational goals. The Communications, Marketing and Campaigns Officer is a major ambassador for NANSA, able to work with people across all sectors and at all levels to generate income and strengthen support for the charity and its work across Norfolk.

Salary: £19,656

Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week including occasional evenings and weekends (as required)

The Retail Assistant is a customer focused role in our NANSA retail outlets. The Retail Assistant is to facilitate with the daily operation of the retail outlet, including meeting sales targets and providing an excellent standard of customer service.



Adult Services Bank Support Worker
Flexible hours £7.69 per hour

The Support Worker is a frontline role working directly with clients as part of a team. The Support Worker enables clients to participate in a comprehensive programme of educational, vocational, outreach, leisure and creative activities, and encourages and promotes independence. The nature of the work is very varied, and includes assisting with personal and dietary care, dealing with challenging behaviour, and offering 1:1 support as appropriate. Bank staff have flexible contracts and work as agreed between NANSA and the individual, to cover staff absences and additional times of need.
