Adult Services Assistant Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Adult Services Assistant Manager.

The Assistant Manager supports the Head of Services to deliver outstanding services that meet the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities accessing our Norwich centre. The Assistant Manager will ensure the smooth day to day running of Adult Services, including line management of associated staff and co-ordination of activities (some of which may happen within the local community). They take the lead on ensuring our quality criteria are met at all times, that sufficient and high quality, appropriate staffing is in place, and that any operational challenges are dealt with effectively. They support the Head of Services on safeguarding and health and safety matters. They act as a strong role model to raise standards through open communication and fostering a continuous learning culture within the team, and liaise with other departments to contribute to the organisation’s overall growth.

Salary: NANSA Scale 24 – 25 £23,023 - £24,352 (negotiable depending on experience)

Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week Monday - Friday

Adult Services Session Co-ordinator
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as an Adult Services Session Co-ordinator.

The Session Coordinators design, deliver and monitor an inclusive programme of activities for NANSA’s adult service users. At the Adults’ Centre in Norwich, NANSA delivers a broad programme of activities and experiences which include confidence building and empowerment, independent living skills, leisure and fitness, art and design, accessing the community, socialising, advocacy and academia. The nature of the work is varied, and will include assisting with intimate care, supporting dietary needs and dealing with challenging behaviour. Alongside the Inclusion Coordinator and the Senior Session Coordinator the team must also consider the developmental, sensory, learning and communication needs of service-users who require a more tailored approach to their participation and progression. The Session Coordinators also act as Keyworkers for an assigned key group of service users, and work with others in the organisation to ensure that the service users’ needs and desired outcomes are met.

The Adult Services Support Worker is a frontline role working directly with clients as part of a team. The Support Worker enables clients to participate in a comprehensive programme of educational, vocational, outreach, leisure and creative activities, and encourages and promotes independence. The nature of the work is very varied, and includes assisting with personal and dietary care, dealing with challenging behaviour, and offering 1:1 support as appropriate. The Adult Service runs Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4pm

Adult Services Bank Support Worker
Flexible hours £7.69 per hour

The Support Worker is a frontline role working directly with clients as part of a team. The Support Worker enables clients to participate in a comprehensive programme of educational, vocational, outreach, leisure and creative activities, and encourages and promotes independence. The nature of the work is very varied, and includes assisting with personal and dietary care, dealing with challenging behaviour, and offering 1:1 support as appropriate. Bank staff have flexible contracts and work as agreed between NANSA and the individual, to cover staff absences and additional times of need.
