Children Services
The Association’s services for children with disabilities and their families are based at the NANSA Family Centre at 33 Woodcock Road, Norwich. NR3 3TT.
Pre-school children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities attend skills development sessions with their parents/carers in order to develop and enhance their physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills, through a themed programme which includes song, movement, rhythm, creative activities and interaction within small groups of children/parents.
NANSA has a specialised play area available to our families and other voluntary organisations. NANSA works closely with the Hamlet Centre. Siblings are also offered support through holiday activity sessions which can be enjoyed by the whole family, both at the Centre and at outreach locations.

Sleep Counselling
Children and young people with additional support needs are far more likely to have serious sleep problems than other children.
They may wake frequently during the night and be distressed. Parents may have to sleep in shifts to attend to their child. It’s not just the children – sleep deprivation can have a devastating effect on the whole household. There is a lack of support for families, when their child with additional support needs has severe sleep problems.
NANSA has three sleep counsellors who can help with addressing problems of sleep deprivation on an outreach basis.
