NANSA is a completely independent, self financing voluntary organisation, working with Norfolk people of all ages with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Being a Norfolk charity, which benefits the local community, we must fundraise vigorously to maintain and develop our services for Norfolk people with disabilities. Our success is only possible with the generosity and commitment of our volunteers, local businesses and the general public.
There are many ways in which you can help our appeal. Please consider making a financial donation or sponsoring one of our activities or services. Alternatively, you may wish to make gifts in kind, such as prizes for our auctions, raffles and tombolas. It would make such a difference giving children with disabilities the opportunity to benefit from our specialist pre-school experiences and for our young people to move onto employemnt opportunties and living independently.

Collect Unwanted Gifts
NANSA are always having Tombolas, Raffles and Auctions to raise funds and in constant need for unwanted gifts e.g: toiletries, chocolates, alcohol
Second-hand goods
NANSA has a number of second-hand shops and we are always in need of used items. Unfortunately, we cannot take furniture, visit our shops page for a shop near you.
Will Writing
You may decide to leave a legacy. Legacies are special gifts from one generation to another. By remembering NANSA in your will you would be helping to provide future services for local children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities
Recycling
NANSA collects used mobile phones and ink cartridges and unwanted jewellery which can be recycled to raise funds. Envelopes are available on request and we have boxes available at the Adult and Family centre
Donating
A number of people decide to collect pennies over the year and donate this. Please make cheques payable to NANSA (Norfolk & Norwich Scope Association). Please remember to send your address to us so that we can thank you
Gift Aid
For every £1 you give to NANSA, we can claim an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. This means that if you make a donation of £10 it will actually be worth £12.50 to us, without costing you anything more.
If you pay tax in the UK then you can donate to us under the Gift Aid scheme. This allows us to reclaim the tax element of your donation – currently 25p for every £1
For us to claim your Gift Aid you must be a taxpayer, this means you will be paying the Inland Revenue tax, from either of the following:-
- the money that you earn
- the savings that you have
- the benefits or pension that you receive
Just Giving
‘Just Giving’ is a website allowing fundraising online. People wanting to raise funds simply set up a page, which can be e-mailed to family, friends & colleagues. Donors can then contribute online. The site guides you through the simple task of setting up the page and is very user-friendly. ‘Just Giving’ also claims Gift Aid on your behalf so NANSA will benefit even more.
