The Artshoproject is an exciting venture managed by NANSA’s Charity Trading Team and supported by a dedicated team of Retail Support Volunteers.

The Artshoproject is a social enterprise that offers a variety of inclusive and diverse traineeships, allowing individuals, to plot and follow their own personalised journey to empowerment. Trainees are supported by their own Personal Development Coach who will guide them through an accredited course, whilst promoting their confidence, progression and ambition to explore new interests and opportunities.

As a social enterprise, in addition to offering traineeships, the Artshoproject is a retail outlet stocking a variety of arts and craft materials. The shop also offers a range of unique products and opportunities to the wider community which have included; gallery exhibitions, creative workshops, commissioned upcycling of furniture and fabric printing.

Whether it’s by upcycling an old coffee table or through the empowerment of its trainees, the Artshoproject transforms ideas into reality. The Artshoproject injects creativity into the community and enables young people with disabilities to smash through those barriers that stand in the way of their progression.
