Fundraising Officer


Hours: To be arranged with successful candidate

Wage: £11.16 per hour

Overview

The Fundraising Officer plays a vital role in securing income that allows Nansa to deliver services that make a real difference to the lives of people with special educational needs and disabilities. Crucially, they have to be a team player with outstanding communication skills, as they have to work across the organisation and understand all the services offered by Nansa, to ensure they are able to provide a persuasive argument to potential funders in order to encourage them to support the work of the charity. With support from Nansa’s senior management team, the Fundraising Officer will work on appeals and trust funding applications. On occasion, the Fundraising Officer may be required to support other activities, including communication with corporate partners and engagement with new and existing supporters in our community. It is important to note, that predominantly and foremost this post-holder will be a bid writer therefore, exceptional grammar and the ability to create effective and original copy is of the utmost importance.
