The CAP Group
Sarah Harrison is the lead parent of Nansa’s CAP Group, for Carers, Advocates and Parents of both adults and children who access Nansa’s range of services for those with disabilities and special educational needs. Meeting monthly (currently via ZOOM); the CAP group offers participants a safe place to talk with others in a similar situation. A place to share experiences, and influence change for Norfolk.
Sarah’s daughter has accessed a range of support and services from Nansa, and as a parent of someone who requires SEND services, Sarah’s role as the facilitator of the CAP group is a perfect fit.

In July 2020, Nansa was awarded £4,961.00 by The Norfolk Community Foundation; for the purposes of offering transport to/from our local services, for those most in need and who otherwise might be isolated due to the cancellation/suspension of their usual transport arrangements (post lockdown). The funding from the NCF will allow us to trial a transport support service over the next 6 months (which we hope to extend and expand into a more permanent community service in 2021).
If transport is a barrier for you or someone you care for, please let us know by email to firstname.lastname@example.org (this service is currently available for Nansa service users only)
