We are unable to sell goods that do not meet legal requirements, recommended safety standards or are considered unsuitable for any reason. The items listed below we will be unable to sell in our shops

Baby/Children

• Child/Baby Car Seats.
• Baby Equipment e.g. Prams, Cots, Highchairs etc.

Clothing

• Nightwear and fancy dress garments without a fire warning label.

Cosmetics

• Opened or out of date cosmetics and beauty products.

Electrical Items

• Large Electrical items e.g. cookers, washing machines etc.
• Heaters of any kind
• Electric blankets
• Electrical goods without CE or UKCA mark

Home

• Bunk Beds.
• Mattresses
• Upholstered furniture must carry a permanent label with the heading
• “CARELESSNESS CAUSES FIRE”. This includes, cushions, sleeping bags and anything with a filling material. Exemption – furniture made before 1 January 1950 including materials for upholstery. 
• Furniture containing glass without the following British Standards: Tables and trolleys – BS 7376:1990 Other furniture containing glass – BS 7449:1991
• Candles (unless new with original packaging and warning label)

Medical

• Wheelchairs/crutches
• Pharmaceutical products – e.g medication

Misc

• Copies of media e.g. DVD’s, CD’s Cassettes, PC and Console games, and counterfeit goods of any type.
• Imitation Firearms
• Fireworks.
• Knives (except standard cutlery) or any item containing blades.
• Weapons of any kind.
• Consumables i.e. food and drink (including alcohol).
• Cigarette lighter refills and solvents of any kind.
• Tobacco
• E cigarettes and E liquid

Sport

• Bicycles and any wheeled items designed for transportation.
• Safety/Fitness equipment to include helmets, flotation aids, , running machines etc.
