Overview

As a Development Coach, you will work alongside (coaching) our service-users (trainees) accessing the Train and Trade service. You will support trainees to gain confidence and experience in a real world of work environment in one of our Train & Trade outlets.

The trainees will have SEND, and so experience working alongside this client group will be essential.

The Development Coach plays a pivotal role in supporting adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) along their journey to increased independence and potential employment. They support individual service users (trainees) to achieve increased levels of work-readiness through coaching and guiding them to improve their work-related skills, confidence, and understanding of customer service.

The nature of this role requires a high level of flexibility to provide appropriate support as is required for a range of trainees with varying levels of competency and confidence. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team will be essential, and as an ambassador for Nansa you will need to be friendly, personable, and have an excellent grasp of good customer service.
