Link-up
Link-up is a social/leisure group for adults over the age of 18 years old with special educational needs and/or learning disabilities.
Link-up provides adults with disabilities an opportunity to explore new interests, meet new friends and generally have fun!
From June 2020, there are no membership fees associated with the Link-up club, it is a fully funded project whereby costs only apply to some activities (such as the cost of a meal out, or theatre ticket price).
Link-up sessions are provided weekly on evenings and at weekends; a programme is available on request by emailing referrals@nansa.org.uk or by sending us a direct message on any of our social media platforms.
Please note this service is currently only available to existing Nansa members.
Link-Up Blog
We are always on the look out for volunteers to help at at Link Up sessions. Sessions are typically on a Wednesday evening with some weekends and Tuesdays from 7pm – 9pm.
Cinderella 2025

The Nansa Link Up group had the most fantastic Saturday afternoon at this year’s panto at Norwich Theatre It’s one of the highlights of our calendar, and this year did not disappoint, full of laughter, music, and that brilliant panto chaos we all (not so) secretly love.
The whole group had such an enjoyable day, and we even had a star moment… Hayley managed to get a selfie with Joe Tracini, which absolutely made her afternoon.
Our annual panto trip is something we all look forward to, and we’re already counting down the days until we’re back next year for Peter Pan
Fuse Club Night

The Link Up group rounded off the year in style with a fantastic evening at Fuse, the inclusive club night held at The Waterfront in Norwich. Fuse has long been one of our most popular activities, offering a safe, welcoming, and vibrant space for people with disabilities to enjoy a proper night out, and the Christmas party edition was no exception.
Halloween

Our amazing members brought the fright and delight with their fabulous costumes.
Special shoutout to Hope, who cast a spell on us all with her enchanting witch costume and took home this year’s Best Costume prize!
Pub Night

July is the perfect time for a pub night for the Link Up group. Sitting in the beer garden, having a laugh and enjoying the warm summer evenings is the perfect way to spend a Wednesday right!?
Crazy Golf

The Nansa Link Up Group brought their A-game to Congo River Rapids Crazy Golf in Easton for their annual summer outing! This popular evening event, always a hit and booked up fast, takes full advantage of warm summer nights, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter
Out There Festival
May 2025
The members of Nansa’s Link Up group had a vibrant and joy-filled day at the Out There Festival in Great Yarmouth, soaking up the electric atmosphere of one of the UK’s biggest outdoor arts celebrations. From quirky circus acts to immersive street performances, the group explored the town’s transformed spaces with laughter, curiosity, and plenty of dancing.
Silent Disco

Silent Discos are always a popular night! Enjoying music through wireless headphones and dancing to their own beat. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of laughter and great moves on the dance floor. The silent disco allowed everyone to connect with the music in their own way, making for a fun and inclusive experience that brought the group together.
Bingo

The Link Up group knows how to keep things exciting with their bingo nights at the Adult Centre on Bowthorpe Road! With a fresh variety of prizes up for grabs every week, it’s all about the thrill of the game, the laughter, and the friendly competition. It’s a perfect mix of fun and surprises!
Fuse Club Night
Fuse is the ultimate night out! Hosted by BUILD at The Waterfront in Norwich, this monthly Link Up session is all about great music, fabulous dancing, and loads of laughter.
Pantomime Time

The countdown to Christmas is officially on! We had our annual trip to the Norwich Theatre Royal Pantomime and it did not disappoint! The pantomime is a big highlight of our year, and it was fabulous to see so many members and volunteers join this year!

Cat Cafe

Link up got to spend the evening with not 1, not 2, but 21 cats! We had the The Cat House – Cat Lounge & Arts Centre – Norwich all to ourselves one evening last week and I think the majority of us wanted to move and not go home! Thank you for such a fun and special evening!
