Train and Trade Cover/Bank
Wage: £10.62 per hour
Closing date: ongoing
Nansa has 4 shops in and around Norwich, a 5th charity shop in Wroxham, and a premises from which we operate our online commerce (ebay).
Nansa’s retail outlets raise vital funds for projects and services that support people of all ages with disabilities, and their families. Our shops have a crucial role in Nansa’s fundraising and marketing efforts, not only do they generate income, but they allow us to engage directly with our community and raise much needed awareness of the charity and those we support.
Our charity shops also offer ‘Train and Trade’, which is a careers support service; offering a range of traineeships that aim to break down the barriers those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) face when accessing training, employment, or education.
Traineeships are hosted internally at one of Nansa’s charity shops in and around Norwich. Nansa recognises the unique differences and challenges of every Trainee; Development Coaches work together with the individuals whom they support to ensure suitable and realistic learning journeys are tailored in order to meet these specific needs. Train and Trade does not apply the ‘one size fits all’ model used by other learning pathways; deadlines, goals and targets are all agreed by a multi-disciplinary team at annual review meetings.
We are seeking a team of individuals, who will work on a casual-hours basis (bank), helping to cover staffing shortages during periods of holiday and/or sickness.
