Assistant Practitioner

• A relevant qualification re: working with families and/or children

• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering support services for families or children

• A competent and confident user of ICT software (Microsoft Office 365)

• Understanding of safeguarding issues

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong team player, able to motivate others and enable them to build resilience

• An understanding of what makes a person centred service

• Able to remain calm under pressure

• Willingness to complete further training as/when is required by the role

• Strong commitment to confidentiality

Senior Practitioner

• Can evidence qualifications and/or experience that relates to early intervention models:
  • Attention Autism
  • Speech and language
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Conductive Education
  • Pre-School

• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering support services for families or children

• A competent and confident user of ICT software (Microsoft Office 365) and experience with software such as ‘TAPESTRY’

• Understanding of safeguarding issues, processes and reporting

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong team player, able to motivate others and enable them to build resilience

• An understanding of what makes a person centred service and the barriers to inclusion faced by people with SEND

• Able to remain calm under pressure and inspire confidence from others in difficult situations

• A passion to learn, grow, and develop

• Strong commitment to confidentiality
